DCS880 Industrial DC Drives

The new DCS880 DC drive series is built on all compatible drive platforms, ensuring that all ABB Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) share common features and tools and can be operated in the same way. The drives integrate certified Safe Torque Off (STO) safety features as standard and support compatibility with the Industrial Internet of Things.
The DCS880 is also a great solution for non-motor applications such as magnets, battery charging, electrolysis and wastewater treatment.
The drive has many useful built-in features focused on safe operation, easy selection and installation, quick setup and efficient maintenance. Interconnectivity has also been prioritized to enable the drive to interface effectively with the Industrial Internet of Things. In addition, the drives can be interfaced with all major fieldbus protocols.
